Cameron Prather, Neurosurgery

Cameron Prather, PA-C finished his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2015 and is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Cameron specialized as a neurosurgical Physician Assistant, providing expert care in all areas of neurosurgery including spine, vascular, tumor, neurotrauma, pain, and pediatric neurosurgery. He has continually trained under the guidance of 7 Austin Area neurosurgeons since entering the field and is consistently called upon for expert assistance in challenging neurosurgical cases by three different neurosurgical practices in the Austin Area.

 

Cameron also serves as CEO and Founder of Neuro Health of Texas, a brain assessment company that focuses on objective measurements of brain activity and performance. He personally trains staff and focuses on measuring veterans for PTSD markers and athletes for concussions.

 

Cameron continues to support research projects in the Austin area for alternative treatments of spinal degeneration and has worked with the University of Texas at Austin on their Movement Science Program. A program that researched the integration of electrical stimuli with stem cell therapy for spinal cord injury.

 

Cameron is a University of Texas at Austin alumni and actively supports his alma mater and hometown of Austin, TX.
